Guest Information and Resort Policies

Bait. Fathead and crappie minnows, night crawlers, and leeches (if available) are for sale at the resort.

Bedding. We provide clean bedding for every guest. Extra blankets are available at the office, if needed. Pillows are also provided.

Boat Gas. Premium boat gas and oil are available for sale at the resort.

Boat Launch. A private boat launch is provided for our guests.

Campfires. Campfires are allowed in campfire rings only. Campfires must not be left unattended and all embers must be extinguished prior to leaving the campfire pit.

Cancellations. Cabin reservation cancellations require a minimum 90-day notice prior to the beginning of your reservation for deposit refund. A $25 handling charge will be subtracted for each cabin and each week. For cancellations made less than 90 days prior to the beginning of your reservation, the deposit minus handling charge will be refunded only if cabin(s) is re-rented for the entire week (excludes change of cabins for existing reservations). Campsite deposits are non-refundable.

Check-In. Check-in time for cabin reservations is 4PM and check-in for campsite reservations is 4PM on Saturday and 1PM Sunday through Friday. By Minnesota statute, all guests and visitors are required to register at the office upon arrival. Please do not arrive early for check-in on Saturday. We are cleaning cabins and resort grounds.

Check-Out. Check-out time for cabin reservations is 9AM and check-out time for campsites is 9AM Saturday and 11AM Sunday through Friday to provide sufficient time for cleaning before incoming guest arrivals. Cabin weeks run Saturday 4PM through Saturday 9AM.

Child Supervision. Parents or caregivers are responsible for supervising children and insuring their safety while at Dreamers Resort. There are no lifeguards on duty. Please use the dock area and watercraft safely.

Children.  Five years or under stay free.

Deposit Required. Cabin reservations require a deposit payment for each week to guarantee your reservation. Deposits are: Cabin 1 $350/wk; Cabin 2 $500/wk; Cabin 3, 4, 5 and 6 $275/wk, Cabin 7 $550/wk, Cabin 8 $600/wk.  Campsite reservations require a one-night non-refundable deposit per site per week.

Early Checkouts. Guests are responsible for the entire length of their reservation regardless of when they check out or when they check in.

Emergencies. For life and death, and fire emergencies, first dial 9-1-1. Afterward, notify Resort staff.  Fire extinguishers are provided in all cabins and boats.

Firewood. Firewood is available for sale for $3/armload (approx 5 pieces). State law prohibits transporting firewood due to ash borer disease. Do NOT bring your own firewood.

Fireworks Prohibited. By law, all types of fireworks including sparklers and firecrackers are strictly prohibited in the Chippewa National Forest and on Resort grounds.

Fish Cleaning. A fish cleaning building is provided for our guests. Do NOT clean fish in the cabins.

Golf cart availability. Cabin 8 reservations include free use of a golf cart and may otherwise be available for use in special circumstances with prior approval, if available. Dreamers Resort does not guarantee availability of a golf cart. Golf cart operation is limited to ages 16 and older with a valid drivers license. Children on the golf cart must be accompanied by an adult. Golf cart must remain on Dreamers Resort property and must stay on the road or paths at all times.  Liability release: Responsible party is the cabin or campsite reservation guest on behalf of themselves and their party. In exchange for use of a golf cart, responsible party and their party agree to operate the golf cart in a safe manner, and adhere to all rules set forth by Dreamers Resort. Responsible party is liable for all medical and legal claims that may arise from use of the golf cart. Responsible party voluntarily agrees to accept the risks of using the golf cart and on behalf of themselves and their party voluntarily release Dreamers Bay Resort, LLC, dba Dreamers Resort and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, actions, causes of actions, suits, judgments and demands for bodily injury, property damage, loss of life and/or loss of services, in law or equity, that may in any way or manner arise out of use of the golf cart.

Ice. Available for sale at the resort (5 lb bags).

Kitchen Items. Dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans are provided in cabins. Additional kitchen items are available at the office upon request. Do not remove kitchen items from cabins or transfer them from one cabin to another.

Lake-shore Activities. There is no lifeguard on duty. All swimming and boat dock activity is at your own risk. Please use the lake shore area safely. Parents and caregivers, please watch your children near the water and in the docks area. No running, bikes, scooters, skateboards or bicycles on the docks. No diving from docks. Maximum of 7 people on any one dock at any one time.

Laundry. Cabins 7 and 8 come with a washer and dryer. Several laundry facilities and services are otherwise available in Bemidji.

Lost and Found. For lost articles, contact the office. Please turn in all found personal items to the office.

Occupancy.  Cabin rates are for the base occupancy indicated. $20/day per or $100/week for each extra person. Children 5 years or under are free. Dreamers reserves the right to limit the number of people per cabin.

Off-Road Traffic. The off-road riding of motorcycles, mini-bikes, ATVs, etc., is not permitted on Resort property.

Payment Types. We accept check, cash, or credit card. Full payment is due by 6PM one day prior to your check-out.

Parking. All passenger vehicles and trailers must be parked in designated parking areas or the parking area by your reserved unit so as not to obstruct access through the resort or to any of the cabins.

Pets. Not allowed at Dreamers Resort, except with Cabin 8 reservation. With Cabin 8 reservation and prior permission, one dog is allowed and must be on a leash and under control of the pet owner at all times. The Dog must never be left unattended unless securely locked inside the pet yard at Cabin 8. Pet owners are held liable and accountable for all damages and accidents, and for picking up after their pet.

Quiet Time. 11PM to 8AM.

Recreational Watercraft. Kayaks and a paddle boat are provided for our guests free of charge on a first come, first serve basis. Minnesota state law requires that life jackets must be worn. Extra life jackets are available at the fish cleaning house. Please return all watercraft and life jackets to their designated locations.

Recycling. We recycle tin pop and beer containers. Please place containers in designated recycle bins.

Reservations. Cabins reservations are by the week from Saturday 4PM to Saturday 9AM during summer months. Three-day cabin reservations are accepted in May, and 2 weeks prior to arrival between Saturday and Saturday during all other months. Campsites reserve by the night or by the week with a three-night minimum. Campsites 4 and 5 are available for seasonal reservations or, if available, weekly or daily reservations are taken after April 15th. 

Seasonal reservations. Campsites 4 and 5 are available for seasonal reservation. Seasonal reservations run 21 weeks annually from fishing opener to fall Resort closing. Contact the Resort office for availability, terms and reservations.

Smoking Prohibited. Smoking is not allowed inside any cabin or building on Resort property per ordinance. Outdoor sand pails are available for butt disposal at each building entrance.

Speed Limit. Speed on the resort grounds shall not exceed 10 mph…….. 5 mph is preferred. Watch for children.

Storm Shelter. In case of severe weather, the lodge office and public bathrooms are the storm shelter.

Tax Rates and Fees. All reservations, boat rentals, and bait and gas purchases are subject to current 7.5% sales tax. Cabin reservations are subject to an additional 3% lodging association fee.

Visitors. By Minnesota statute, all visitors are required to register at the office upon arrival. Visitors staying more than four hours are subject to an extra person charge of $20/day. We reserve the right to charge for any unregistered visitors. No pets allowed with visitors.
